Robotics for
every body.
The human body is not a fixed workpiece. It moves and changes shape, and no two bodies are alike. Tenrec’s core capability is robotics that locates any body and positions a tool relative to it, in the body’s own coordinate frames. It works with repeatable precision, enabling AI-driven individualized automation.
Automating ultrasound acquisition.
Ultrasound is fast and available almost anywhere. It is also operator-dependent: the same subject, two operators, two different results.
We remove that dependence. A robot follows defined, repeatable trajectories and records each image with the transducer position and orientation it was taken from.
The result is a structured dataset, acquired the same way across sessions and subjects, and reproducible by design. The interpretation stays with the clinician — Tenrec provides the data.
Development roadmap.
You can’t transform an entire medical discipline without a structured approach. We’re first using our technology to document conventional ultrasound examinations. In a second step, we will introduce a robot to the research market that—for the first time—can collect standardized ultrasound data largely autonomously. After that, our goal is to achieve fully autonomous ultrasound examinations.
